JULY 11, 2018 – President Rodrigo Duterte’s net satisfaction rating fell to a new personal low of +45, categorized as “good,” based on the latest report of Social Weather Stations.

This is 11 points lower than his ratings from March 2018 which is +56 or equivalent to “very good.”

“Bumaba? I do not care…Wala na ako dyan. It does not interest me at all,” Duterte told reporters after his speech at the National Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Summit 2018 in Clark, Pampanga on Tuesday.

“Basta ako coast along na lang ako…and with the new suggestion since I’m not popular anymore, Congress might decide to find a popular one. You want a popular president? Fine. Good,” Duterte added.

Political analyst Prof. Amado Mendoza believes the huge decline in Duterte’s satisfaction rating was mainly because of the effects of inflation.

“Tingin ko number one ‘yung pagtaas ng presyo… Tama sa bulsa ng taumbayan… Mas importante ‘yun gut issue. Tingin ko pumapangalawa ‘yung banat sa simbahan at sa Diyos,” Mendoza said.
