“There is a clamor from the public to restore to the PNP and all other law enforcement agencies the responsibility of providing active support to the PDEA in the conduct of anti-illegal drug operations,” sabi ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque base sa kanyang binasang memorandum.

Nilinaw ni Roque na Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) pa rin ang mamumuno at tutulong lamang ang ibang instititusyon tulad ng PNP, Armed Forces of the Philippines, National Bureau of Investigation at Bureau of Customs.

“PDEA shall continue to be the overall lead agency in the anti-illegal drug campaign. Dangerous Drugs Board shall remain as the policy-making and strategy-formulating body of policies and programs,” sabi ni Roque.
