Tash and Andres Take Charge
After taking a break from their jobs in Singapore, Aga Pers’ (played by Aga Muhlach) twins, Atasha and Andres, stepped in to support their family’s bakery, Bake Haus of U. Their involvement not only boosted the business but also reinforced the family’s core values.
Here’s our Top 8 list of Andres and Atasha’s best moments on Da Pers Family, highlighting their strong bond as siblings, and their distinct personalities, too!
- First business venture: A sweet success!
The twins had a brilliant idea to organize a food bazaar in Barangay Singko, featuring local specialties by their ka-barangays and, of course, the twins’ delicious cookies. With Andres handling the baking and Tash taking charge of promotions, the bazaar was a hit!
Winning moment ito ng twins dahil nakumbinsi nila si Daddy Aga na sumubok ng ibang diskarte na makatutulong sa kanilang business. Naging daan din ito para mapatunayan nila Tash at Andres ang kanilang creativity and make business decisions on their own, even without the help of their parents.
- A thoughtful birthday gift to Daddy Aga
May mga parents talagang sentimental sa mga material possessions nila, like Daddy Aga at ang kanyang paboritong spatula! Nang masira ito because of overuse, imbes na bumili ng bago, pinagawa ito nina Andres and Tash and their father appreciated it very much.
Kagaya ng Japanese philosophy na kintsugi or the art of embracing imperfection, in-explain ni Daddy Aga na mas gumaganda ang mga gamit o bagay kahit luma na, dahil pinahahalagahan natin ito.
“Parang ito sira, putol, tapos inayos n’yo, so, mas maganda pa siya lalo ngayon. Mas may halaga pa siya lalo, kasi hindi n’yo itinapon,” Aga explained.
3. Andres faces rejection from his crush
When Andres reconnected with his influencer-childhood crush, Keila (played by Heaven Peralejo), he found himself going out of his way to please her. Forda asa kasi si Andres kay ghorl, kaya naman pinagbibigyan niya ang mga hiling ni Keila na palibre sa kanilang bakeshop. Babayaran naman daw ito ni Andres sa kanilang bakery, pero si business-minded Tash, at si Orb Anne (Heart Ryan), nakutuban ang pinagbabawal na technique nitong si Keila!
With their help, Andres realized he was being manipulated. The rejection, which followed after Andres’ date with Keila, also allowed him to accept this part of his life, move on, and say “Thank you, next!”
- Andres’ fearful pers acting gig
Kapag pers time mo talaga gawin ang isang bagay, madalas may halong takot at kaba. For Andres, ito ang pag-arte sa isang commercial matapos siyang ma-discover ni Direk Ogie Diaz! With the encouragement of his family, and his commercial co-star, his trusty Orb Anne, Andres bravely faced his fears and nailed his part!
- Tash’s “Lunch Date”—It’s not what you think!
Ano kayang feeling ng parents mo noong una nilang nalaman na may ka-date ka? For Charlene, gulat lang, pero noong nakita niyang halos kaedaran niya na ang ka-date ni Tash, she got shookedth! It was later revealed that he was Tash’s boss, Eddie (played by Janno Gibbs) from her new work.
However, Daddy Aga was less than thrilled about the situation, as Boss Eddie also sent flowers and gifts to Tash. Nilinaw naman ni Tash later on, na ang mga regalong natanggap ay para sa celebration ng kanyang 2nd work anniversary sa kumpanya ni Boss Eddie.
Being able to handle this tricky situation and bridging the generational gap between her and her dad is a win for Tash, because through patience and clear communication, Daddy Aga finally understood his mistake.
- A health scare with a twist!
Rumors spread in Barangay Singko, that Tash had Mpox, leading to a visit from a new doctor in town, Doc Dennis (played by Benj Manalo). Nag-quarantine na, inalbularyo pa! Pero wala naman ni isang sintomas ng sinasabing Mpox ang nag-appear sa katawan ni Tash! It was soon discovered that Doc Dennis is unlicensed and gave the wrong diagnosis, and Tash only needed rest and medication for her sickness. The Pers Fam now learned that it’s best to check the credentials of health professionals, dahil marami pa rin ang nagkalat na doctor kwak-kwak!
- Andres falling for his Orb?!
Posible kayang maging mag-BFF ang opposite sexes at ‘di ma-inlove sa isa’t isa? Ito kasing si Andres, tila lumabas na ang feelings for his Orb Anne, nang malaman niya ang hula kay Anne that she will end up with a certain “Anton Lim!” Nagpakalasing dahil sa selos si Andres, habang si Tash nahalata rin ang lungkot na dinadala ng kanyang kapatid.
Pero hindi lahat ng sinasabi ng baraha, tama, because Anne willingly sabotaged her look before meeting with Anton Lim to avoid his interest! Does it mean Anne’s heart is already taken by somebody else? Time will tell! But for now, happy na ulit si Andres!
- The Pers Twins host Ms. Queen-Saymada 2024
Alam n’yo bang hidden talent pala ni Andres ang pagma-magic?! Ibinida niya ito noong binuo nila ni Atasha ang Ms. Queen-Saymada 2024! The twins organized the pageant from candidate-searching up to the coronation part, with Tash handling the production behind the scenes while Andres The Magician, together with Anne, surprised everyone with his magic tricks.
Another winning moment ito ng kambal. Because of their hardwork, naging successful ang ginanap na pageant, at nag resulta pa ito sa pagkakaayos ng matagal nang lamat sa relasyon between Ms. Queen-Sayamada 2024 winner na si Boss Beauty (Chad Kinis) at ng kanyang kaibigan-turned-rival, na si Elsa Droga.
