(December 13, 2024) — The joy and happiness of Christmas are felt even more deeply, with amazing performances at the “Merry Ang Vibes ng Pasko: The MVP Group Christmas Party” — a star-studded event held for the benefit of typhoon survivors.
The event was held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Thursday night.
The concert featured powerhouse performances by Bamboo, Aple de Ap, Maja Salvador, and Sarah Geronimo.
Among the stars present was the iconic trio Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon (TVJ), the Muhlach family, Piolo Pascual, Willie Revillame, and OPM artists such as the “Concert King” Martin Nievera and Jed Madela.
Two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo were also present, as well as many other well-loved artists and personalities.
In an interview, MVP Group Chairman Manny V. Pangilinan expressed his joy in bringing the MVP Group family together for this special event, which also aimed to benefit the victims of recent typhoons.
“It feels good to get our people together. We’re very happy to host everybody here,” he said.
“We made it to the point to say that this been made to raise funds for the typhoon victims, spate of typhoons diba from October, November. So we thought that must be a very very significant element in this celebration,” he added.
He also shared that his wish for the upcoming Christmas is to make more people happy.
“I hope we can, mapasaya more than one. I think it’s gonna be a great concert tonight. Maligayang pasko sa inyong lahat Merry ang vibes ng pasko,” Pangilinan said.
