(March 12, 2025) – Runners, get ready to lace up your running shoes and hit the streets of Metro Manila like never before.
The highly anticipated Rexona 10 Miler Series is here, offering runners an exhilarating journey through six iconic cities: Manila, Pasay, Muntinlupa, Parañaque, Makati, and Quezon City.
More than just a race, each leg is designed to highlight the urban backdrops and historical richness of its respective area, making every stride not just a fitness milestone but also a way to rediscover the metro’s charm.
“What we want is parang F1, different race, different experience, and different challenge. And also, one of our long-term objectives or goals is promote local tourism. We are also hoping to attract runners from different cities in Metro Manila or outside Metro Manila,” said RUNRIO President Rio Dela Cruz during the event’s media launch over the weekend at Taguig City.
“We want to encourage both beginners and of course expereineced runners to actually discover the different Metro Manila landmarks while running a 16-km run,” said Bea Joson, Deodorants Category Lead for Unilever Philippines.
Aiming to attract 5,000 to 6,000 runners per leg, the race offers three distance categories: 5 km, 10 km, and a 10-miler or 16 km, catering to both casual and seasoned runners.
The series will kick off in the City of Manila on April 6 at the historic Quirino Grandstand. The excitement will continue in Pasay City on May 4 at the SM Mall of Asia Complex, followed by Muntinlupa City on July 6 at Filinvest City. Next, Parañaque City takes the spotlight on August 3 at Parqal Aseana City, before heading to Makati City on September 14 at Ayala Triangle Gardens. The series will culminate in Quezon City on November 23 at UP Diliman, promising a thrilling finale to an unforgettable race journey.
At the race village, participants can look forward to interactive brand activations and claim their loot bags from exciting sponsors.
Finishers will be rewarded with a spinning medal for each city they complete. Meanwhile, runners who conquer the 10-mile (16 km) race across all six cities within the cut-off time will earn the prestigious conqueror’s medal.
