Lahat ba nanonood na ng Suntok Sa Buwan?

Aga Muhlach plays Jimmy Boy, Dos’ father in the movieserye. He’s a retired boxing player-turned-Baguio taxi driver.

“He’s one of the most well-loved people in the Valley of Colors. Siya ‘yung ‘yes man’, siya ‘yung ‘Mang Jimmy Boy pagawa naman ng ganito’, ‘Mang Jimmy Boy pahatid naman ako sa sagada’, lagi siyang ‘yes, sige, tara tara’, kaya sobrang love siya sa Valley of Colors,” said Direk Geo Lomuntad.

What’s exciting about this is that it’s Aga’s very first teleserye. When asked about the best part of playing the role, Aga said that the best part was accepting the position in the first place.

“‘Yun lang ‘yun, sa pagtanggap ko ng project na to, lahat maganda na. So I’ll be very honest, like ‘yung first day sobra ‘yung nerbyos ko, nakikiramdam ako, but because naniniwala ako sa proyekto, sumagot ako ng oo, masaya ako sa mga kasama ko.”

Aga also felt that the role was meant for him.

“Meron akong kwento kasi diyan… noong madami pang nag-o-offer sakin ng serye noon pa, parati, all the time ang sinasabi ko lang sa sarili ko gagawa lang ako ng serye kapag sa Baguio ang location, para malamig, kasi alam kong mahirap ang trabaho ng serye. Anyway, long story short, nag-offer na nga sila sakin, via Zoom, and nung in-offer nila sa ‘kin nagandahan talaga ako. Ibang-iba talaga siya, hindi lang ibang-iba, feeling ko bagay sa ‘kin at kaya kong gawin.”

During the behind-the-scenes interview of Suntok Sa Buwan, Aga shared what it was like to shoot a serye.

“I had to drive all the way up to Baguio for one shot, then it’s rest time again until tomorrow, buhay serye, ‘Sir, need po kayo sa set’.”

Despite being his first movieserye, Aga still does his best to satisfy the viewers.

“My experience sa lahat ng pelikula ko, you do your best and then you leave the rest to them, kung magustuhan nila or hindi, it’s beyond my control.”
