TGP The Generics Pharmacy ended its two-day summit with “renewed commitment, excitement for the now and the future,” and positivity among its hundreds of pharmacists and franchisees attending in full force.
The well-attended summit brought notable speakers such as Fides Buenafe, MD from the Department of Health (DOH) pharmaceutical division, former Philippine Pharmacist Association president Ms. Leonila Ocampo, Ruthie Miranda of global research firm IQVIA, and Sarisuki chief executive officer Brian Cu.
The resource speakers drew from their wealth of experience in providing significant learnings and key takeaways to pharmacists and franchisees during the summit.
In particular, Cu gave an inspiring talk on his journey to jump-starting his online grocery business in the country, from how he started with his former companies in Zalora and GrabPH to how he utilized technology to revolutionize the e-commerce sector.
The summit was also graced by celebrity and former lawmaker Vilma Santos, a brand ambassador of TGP, who commended pharmacists and franchisees for their efforts to bring accessible, affordable, and quality generics to Filipino patients and consumers.
Santos also encouraged pharmacists and franchisees to also look after their own health, underscoring the importance of the timeless saying “health is wealth.”
TGP also welcomed singer and Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo as its new brand ambassador.
Wrapping up the TGP summit was the conferment of The Good Pharmacy Assistant and the Good Pharmacist TGPagpagaling Awards to honor the individuals who have made a difference in the communities they serve.
