(August 28, 2024) — Mornings have become brighter and uplifting with our new Kapatid-favorite series “Padyak Princess.” Its relatable themes and family-friendly content have become a go-to for our Kapatid viewers, for their daily dose of lighthearted humor and inspiration. Lead stars Miles Ocampo, Joao Constancia, and Kira Balinger recently sat down with us to discuss some of their memorable scenes from the show so far.
The Super Ate
Since its premiere on June 10, “Padyak Princess” has made significant strides. The story began with the joyful childhood of the Nieva siblings, that soon turned dark as the Nieva family faced one hardship after another.
As the eldest, Princess Nieva (Miles Ocampo) takes on the responsibility of supporting her younger siblings, navigating the tough challenges ahead as the cheerful and reliable “Padyak Princess” of Barangay Singko. Princess became a certified raketera of Barangay Singko, also known as ‘Singkusing,’ matapos sumakabilang-buhay ang kanilang Pawpaw Martin (Cris Villanueva) at makulong ang kanilang Mawmaw Selma (Yayo Aguila) dahil sa scam.
Stepping up as the guardian of her siblings, Princess took charge to help them start anew. Many can relate to the responsibilities of a “Super Ate” like Princess. Beyond managing the daily needs of their home and school, she also supports her siblings’ dreams, from Jingjing’s (Miel Espinoza) participation in the volleyball team to ensuring Andoy (David Remo) gets the treatment he needs.
Singkusing
Being a tight-knit community, “No man is an island” sa Barangay Singko, kaya sa bayanihan din ng mga taga-Singkusing nairaraos nina Princess ang pamumuhay nilang magkakapatid.
“The Bessy” VS “Ang Dayo”
Miko and Princess grew up together, and with their strong emotional bond built through the years, it’s no wonder their friendship could evolve into romance!
And so the love triangle between Miko, Princess, and Wes continues! If you’re also invested in their bessy-in-love and enemies-to-lovers stories, join the journey of our Padyak Princess, as she navigates love and life, Weekdays, 11:15 AM, on TV5’s Gandang Mornings block.
