TEAM WES VS TEAM MIKO: The face-off for the heart of our Padyak Princess

It’s the ultimate showdown—who’s going to win Princess’ (Miles Ocampo) heart: ‘The Stranger’ or ‘The BFF?’ On one side, you’ve got Wesley (Jameson Blake), the mysterious new guy who literally crashed into Princess’ life and turned it upside down. On the other side, there’s Miko (Joao Constancia), the ever-reliable best friend who’s been there through every high and low but just can’t seem to admit his real feelings.

So, will Team Wes take the lead with his bold, spontaneous moves? Or will Team Miko swoop in with that deep connection and years of friendship? Let’s dive into the rivalry between these two young men as they both compete for the heart of our beloved Padyak Princess

Ang BFF

Kung history ang pag-uusapan, mahaba na ang kasaysayan ng kwento nila Princess at Miko. Sabay lumaki sa Barangay Singkusing ang mag-bestfriend. Sabay nilang naranasan ang saya ng kanilang childhood memories, at sabay din silang nagdamayan sa mga adulting problems ngayong malalaki na sila. Pero isa sa nagpatibay ng kanilang bond ay ang insidente kung saan iniligtas ni Princess si Miko sa pagbagsak ng debris mula sa nasusunog na patahian sa kanilang barangay. Simula noon, tinawag na ni Miko si Princess bilang kanyang “hero,” at mas lumalim pa ang kanilang samahan.

Ang Dayo

Hanggang sa dumating si Wesley sa eksena. Hindi ordinaryo ang unang pagkikita nina Princess at Wesley—isipin mo, habang abala ka sa araw mo, bigla kang masasagasaan at titilapon pa sa ibabaw ng kotse?! Umabot pa ang gulo sa barangay, at kinailangan silang tulungan para ayusin ito. Dito nagsimula ang kanilang alitan, at dito rin nag-ugat ang kanilang matinding inis sa isa’t isa.

But all of these changed because noong ikulong ni Ram sina Princess at Wesley sa isang bodega. Dahil na-trap ang dalawa maghapon, nagkaroon sila ng pagkakataon na mag-usap nang masinsinan, hanggang sa magkaintindihan sila at magkaroon ng emotional bond sa experience na ito. Pero matapos nito, isang “scandal” naman ang kumalat—salamat kay Lyca na kinunan ang dalawa habang natutulog sa bodega.

Ang pekeng scandal naman ang naging mitsa ng away sa pagitan nina Miko at Wesley. Bilang protective BFF, sinugod ni Miko si Wesley at sinubukang kumbinsihin si Princess na may masamang balak ito sa kanya. Ngunit si Miko ang pinaalis ni Princess dahil sa hindi inaasahang gulo na idinulot niya.

This unexpectedly worked to Wesley’s advantage. Unti-unting nabawasan ang tensyon sa pagitan nila ni Princess, at mas naging magaan ang kanilang relasyon. Sinong mag-aakala na ang dating aso’t pusa ay magiging magkaibigan? Nagiging mas komportable na rin si Wesley sa pakikipag-usap kay Princess, at halos hindi na sila mapaghiwalay.

Speed Dapat OR Take It Easy?

Pero hindi puwedeng forever taguan ng feelings ‘di ba?! Finally, Wesley mustered his courage and revealed his feelings for Princess. Given the relationship they had built, it was a risk he was willing to take. But the ultimate question is, ready na ba si Princess magka-lovelife?

Si Miko naman, patuloy sa pagiging torpe! Umabot pa sa sobrang kalasingan bago siya umamin ng nararamdaman para kay Princess. Marami na kasi siyang pagkakataon, pero hindi niya magawang sabihin ang true feelings niya for his bestfriend. Pero may punto rin si Miko—maaari kasi niyang masira ang matagal na nilang pagkakaibigan kung magkamali siya sa pag-amin.

Ngayon, pumayag na si Princess na manligaw si Wes sa kaniya, habang hindi naman ito matanggap ni Miko. As Princess and Wes became closer each day, Miko and Princess are slowly drifting apart. To save their friendship, nag-usap ang mag-BFF and decided to remain friends, for now.

New Challenges Arise

Everything seems to be going great until another issue arise between Princess and Wes. Ipinakilala ni Wesley si Princess sa kanyang Daddy, na may kinalaman pala sa aksidente ng Pawpaw ni Princess at sa mga nang-scam sa kanilang pamilya at ibang taga-Barangay Singkusing! Dahil dito, nagpasyang lumayo muna si Wesley kay Princess.

Dinamayan naman ni Miko si Princess dahil sa pangyayaring ito, at naging perfect opportunity rin ito para muling mapalapit sila sa isa’t isa.
