(October 22, 2024) – The Office of the Executive Secretary has suspended classes in all levels and work in government offices in Luzon on Wednesday, October 23 due to Typhoon Kristine.
“Hoewever, those agencies whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services shall continue with their operations and render the necessary services,” the OES said in a statement.
“The suspension of work for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads,” it added.
Local government units in other parts of the country have also announced class suspensions.
