Despite hitting success after success, the ‘Asia’s Phoenix’ used to be a clapper or a regular second placer in any singing competition she joined in.
Almost given up, her family and people around her became her source of strength by allowing her to grieve. Like a phoenix, Morissette rebirthed herself by joining more contests, thanks to her mentors who molded her into what she is now.
The 26-year-old singer appeared in several TV5 singing contests prior to joining ABS-CBN’s The Voice Kids, where she was eliminated in the semi-finals round.
Amon is joined by fellow stars Fearless Diva Jona, Pinoy rap superstar Gloc-9, and Champion Diva Ethel Booba in the debut season of the Sing Galing Kids, airing on July 16, at 6 PM on TV5.
Also joining the show are Sing Galing’s beloved mascot, Genie, Sing Masters – Randy Santiago, K Brosas, and Donita Nose, and Digiverse Master Zendee who will be joined by her adorable and lovely Junior Singtokers Yoyo and Tyronia.
Meanwhile, Queenay and Sing Galing’s Ultimate Bida-oke grand champion Mari Mar Tua will be the “Arkidia Ates” who will be hanging out with the kiddie contestants.
Now in its first year on national television, TV5’s legendary karaoke reality show and original ‘Videoke Kantawanan ng Bansa’, Sing Galing, is finally opening its doors to aspiring young voices.
